Currently touring Europe Blood Sweat & Tears are celebrating 40 years of great music. The NZ concerts will be part of the 40 year anniversary tour. FOUR DECADES OF HIT MUSIC "You've Made Me So Very Happy" -"I Can't Quit Her" - "Go Down Gamblin'" "Hi-De-Ho"- "Sometimes In Winter" - "And When I Die"- "Spinning Wheel" "Lisa, Listen To Me" - "I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know" - "Lucretia Mac Evil" - "God Bless the Child" A musical institution, Blood Sweat & Tears has left an indelible mark on the American and global music scene since 1968. One of the greatest horn bands in the history of popular music, BS&T’s alumni roster reads like a Who’s Who of the world’s greatest musicians. Though there have been many changes in the bands line up over the years BS&T continues its tradition of finding and showcasing the brightest talent around the world. Whether playing their greatest hits, or new arrangements of classic songs, the band provides a night you will never forget BS&T’s longstanding audiences bring their children to the band’s performances; a new generation joins an existing wide demographic of loyal fans. 2006 saw record attendance and sold out shows. Blood Sweat & Tears has once again proven that great musicians produce great music. The horn section has recorded with Jazz great Jeff Lorber for his 2007 album. 2008 brought the bands first World Tour in many years. 2008 also saw the return of Founding Father Steve Katz to the BS&T line up. |
